Who the bouclé mat is for
A mat is a flat sleeping place without sides: it goes onto a sofa or armchair, into a carrier or crate, or serves as a second bed in another room. Of our three mat fabrics, bouclé is the softest and cosiest to the touch, so it suits dogs and cats that sleep indoors and like soft surfaces. Size S 60×40 cm is made for cats and dogs up to 4 kg, M 80×55 cm up to 8 kg, L 100×70 cm up to 15 kg.
What makes the fabric different
Bouclé is an upholstery fabric with a textured looped surface, the kind found on mid-range sofas. The small loops create a dense, cushioned texture that feels pleasant and looks quiet — the mat reads as an interior piece, not a pet-shop accessory. It washes at 30°C without losing colour, and claws leave no snags on the dense base weave.
When to choose it
Bouclé is chosen for softness and a homely look: it is the mat you lay where the dog or cat already sleeps — the sofa, an armchair, a windowsill for the cat. If you need a mat for the yard or the car boot, take the outdoor one in waterproof oxford. If quick hair clean-up matters most, look at the rogozhka mat. Machine-washable, quick to dry; custom sizes are available on request.
