How to choose: go by the dog's weight, not the look
A bed is picked by the eye, but the dog has to sleep in it. So start with two numbers, not the colour: your dog's weight and length. Measure the dog lying on its side with legs stretched out, nose to tail base, and add 10–15 cm for movement in sleep — that is the space needed inside the bed, between the bolsters. Add roughly 15% to the weight as a margin: a bed that fits "just right" usually ends with legs hanging off the edge and the dog moving to the sofa.
The second question is who will sleep there. XS and S, with inner space of 25×25 and 40×30 cm, suit dogs up to 6 kg and cats — for a cat such a bed is a ready-made berth with a bolster to lean against. From size M upward the range is built for dogs, up to 3XL rated for 100 kg.
Types: bolster bed, mat, outdoor mat
The EGO bolster bed is the core format: the soft bolster works as a pillow for the head and shelters the back. The SPOT mat is a flat sleeping place without sides — it goes into a crate, onto a sofa, into a carrier, or serves as a second bed in another room. The OUT outdoor mat is sewn from waterproof oxford for the yard, terrace and car boot: dirt and wet paws wipe off with a damp cloth.
If your dog sleeps with its head propped up, choose bolsters. If it likes stretching out on a cool surface, or the bed travels with you, choose a mat.
Size: why inner dimensions matter
Most makers publish only the outer size. The buyer sees "90×80 cm" while the dog gets 60×50 cm of actual space — the bolsters take the rest. We publish both figures for every size: the outer footprint and the inner space where the dog actually sleeps. Compare beds by the inner number — it is the only one that matches how you measured your dog.

Fabrics: how the collections differ
All four fabrics are upholstery-grade, the same quality as on mid-range sofas: claws leave no snags and the colour survives dozens of washes. The difference is in character. Oxford is waterproof and the most rugged — the choice for active dogs, puppies and everyone who comes home straight from a puddle. Rogozhka is a dense weave that lets hair be brushed off in a minute — practical for shedding breeds. SOFT velour is the warmest and softest, usually taken for small, cold-prone dogs. TOUCH is a jacquard velour with a quiet pattern: velour softness plus easy cleaning.
Care: removable cover and washing
Every cover comes off on a YKK zipper and machine-washes at 30°C. The sectioned-quilt mattress holds its shape under weight and never bunches up, even if the dog digs its spot every night. The cover always wears out first, so a spare one can be ordered separately — the bed stays, only the "clothes" change.
