Bed sizes: outer and inner dimensions
Why inner dimensions at all
A dog doesn't sleep "on" a bolster bed — it sleeps inside it, between the bolsters. That space decides whether the dog fits: whether the legs stretch out, whether the head hangs off. We publish the inner space for every size next to the outer one — no one else on the market does: the five biggest bed sellers in Ukraine list only the outer footprint.
Why the outer size is misleading
Bolsters take 15–20 cm on each side. The buyer sees "90×80 bed", pictures their dog on it — and the inside turns out to be 60×50. For a corgi that is the difference between sprawling on its side and sleeping curled only. Two beds with the same outer size can differ by a full size step inside — compare the inner number. Our bolsters are 20 cm high on sizes XS–M and 25 cm on L–3XL: a large dog rests its head higher, a small one steps over more easily.

How to measure your dog
Measure the dog in its usual sleeping pose. Stretched out — nose to tail base plus 10–15 cm for movement in sleep. Curled — the diameter of the "doughnut" plus 10 cm. Compare the result with the inner space in the chart, not the outer footprint. Add about 15% to the weight as a margin: for a dog on the border of two sizes, a snug fit ends with legs on the floor.
Looking for a size that isn't in the chart
Buyers often arrive with other makers' dimensions. The translation is simple. Looking for a "120×80 bed" — that is our 2XL: 120×100 outside, 85×70 inside, 20 cm wider. Looking for "90×60" — that is L: same length, more width. A "70×50 bed" — our S, 65×50 with a 40×30 inner space for curled-up sleep; if the dog sleeps stretched out, take M 75×65. "Around 100 cm" — take XL 110×85 with a margin: no legs off the edge.
