What to consider when choosing
For a Pug of 6–9 kg we recommend size M — inner space 50×43 cm. Look at the space between the bolsters: a Pug sleeps curled up or on its belly, pressed side-on against the bolster with its head resting there — a flat-faced dog breathes easier that way.
Buyers take the S (space 40×30 cm) "to keep it compact" — and the Pug doesn't fit: it's short but wide and dense, a real 8–9 kg. We see this mistake all the time. Measure your sleeping Pug and add 10–15 cm — you'll land exactly on M.
Pugs feel the cold, so SOFT or TOUCH velour suits them best. The fabrics are upholstery-grade, like mid-range sofas: a Pug's short stiff hair doesn't spear into the pile, and the colour survives frequent washing — Pugs shed more than a short coat suggests.
