Who oxford is for
Oxford suits dogs that live actively: puppies in training, dogs that walk in any weather and come home straight from a puddle, and large breeds in general. Moisture does not soak into the fabric — wet paws, drool or a tipped-over bowl wipe off with a damp cloth, no washing needed. The same quality makes oxford the practical choice for the yard and terrace: our outdoor mats are sewn from it.
What makes the fabric different
Oxford is a dense woven polyester with a water-repellent finish, the same durability class as mid-range upholstery. Claws leave no snags when the dog digs its spot before sleep, and the colour survives dozens of washes at 30°C. Of our four fabrics, oxford is the most resistant to moisture and wear; the trade-off is a slightly firmer touch than the velours.
When to choose it
Two questions settle the choice. Does the dog spend a lot of time outside, dig or chew? Oxford will outlast any other fabric here. Is the dog cold-prone and fond of burrowing into something soft? Then look at SOFT or TOUCH velour and keep oxford for the outdoor mat. All 7 sizes — from XS 50×45 cm for small breeds and cats to 3XL 145×115 cm rated up to 100 kg — come with a removable YKK-zip cover; a spare cover can be ordered separately.
