What to consider when choosing
For a Corgi of 10–14 kg we recommend size L — inner space 60×50 cm. Count the space between the bolsters: a Corgi is medium by weight but wider than it looks, and it sleeps sprawled on its side or on its back, paws up.
By weight the M (space 50×43 cm) seems to fit — but at the workshop we see Corgi owners who took the M come back for the L: the wide chest and the love of sprawling demand a margin. Measure the dog lying down and add 10–15 cm. Take the M only for a smaller female that sleeps curled up.
A Corgi sheds year-round, and twice a year — like an avalanche. Our fabrics are upholstery-grade, like mid-range sofas: the undercoat doesn't weave into the pile and brushes off in a minute, and the colour survives dozens of washes. Oxford and rogozhka clean up easiest.
We developed each model around breed sizes — adjusting width and length to how dogs actually sleep. The first thing to wear out is the cover: dogs dig at it and shed on it. That's why it's removable on a YKK zipper, with spares available separately.
