Dog beds for rottweilers
Inner space 85×70 cm — the Rottweiler sleeps stretched out on its side, head on something raised
2XL 120×100 cm (inner 85×70) is the rottweiler's size; our chart places the breed here alongside the German shepherd. 3XL 145×115 cm (inner 110×85) for a male over 55 kg or one that sprawls at full length. XL is too small for an adult rottweiler.

What to consider when choosing
For a rottweiler of 45–55 kg we recommend 2XL — an 85×70 cm inner space. Under a dog this heavy what matters is filler density, not the outer footprint: thin beds sag within a month, the filling packs down under the ribs and the load shifts to elbows and joints. Our sectioned-quilt mattress holds its shape, and the base and seams are built for the weight.
We raised the bolsters on the large sizes deliberately — a rottweiler rests its heavy head on them, which is its favourite pose. A short, coarse coat does not work into the pile: both oxford and rogozhka suit, and hair comes off them most easily. The cover unzips on a YKK zip; a spare costs far less than a new bed this size.
FAQ
What size bed does a rottweiler need?
For an adult of 45–55 kg we recommend 2XL: 120×100 cm outer, 85×70 cm inner. The largest males will want 3XL (145×115).
Will the bed hold a 50 kg dog?
Yes. The base and seams are built for large breeds, and the sectioned-quilt mattress does not sag under weight.
