Dog beds for samoyeds
Inner space 75×55 cm — the samoyed sleeps curled in a doughnut with its nose in its tail
XL 110×85 cm (inner 75×55) if your samoyed sleeps curled in a tight doughnut with its nose in its tail. 2XL 120×100 cm (inner 85×70) if it stretches out on its side, or if your dog is closer to 27–30 kg. In doubt, take 2XL — extra room never bothers a large dog.

What to consider when choosing
For a samoyed of 20–27 kg we recommend XL — a 75×55 cm inner space. The breed sleeps two ways, tightly curled or sprawled on its side, and the bed has to cover both. Measure the dog lying stretched out and add 10–15 cm; that is the inner space you need.
With a samoyed the challenge is the coat, not the weight: the undercoat comes off in clouds twice a year. Oxford and rogozhka are the easiest to clean — hair sits on top and brushes away instead of working into a pile. Velour is the wrong pick here: it traps undercoat, and the dog finds it too warm anyway.
FAQ
What size bed does a samoyed need?
For an adult of 20–27 kg we recommend XL: 110×85 cm outer, 75×55 cm inner. A larger dog up to 30 kg will want 2XL (120×100).
Samoyeds shed heavily — which fabric works?
Oxford or rogozhka: the undercoat stays on the surface and brushes off in a minute. The cover unzips on a YKK zip and washes at 30°C.
