What to consider when choosing
For a Cane Corso of 45–55 kg we recommend size 3XL — inner space 110×85 cm. Count the space between the bolsters, not the outer dimensions: a Corso sleeps stretched out on its side with straight legs, and on a 2XL an adult male's paws already press into the bolster.
Take the 2XL (space 85×70 cm) only for a smaller female under 45 kg that sleeps curled up. At the workshop we watch owners of big males save one size — and order the bigger bed a month later. Measure the dog lying down and add 10–15 cm.
Under 50 kg the base gives out first: in cheap beds the filling clumps under the dog's sides within a month. Our sectional-quilted mattress doesn't flatten — less load on elbows and joints, which matters for mastiffs. The fabrics are upholstery-grade, like sofas: no claw snags, and the colour survives the washes.
For large breeds we raised the bolsters — a Corso rests its heavy head on them, its favourite "watchman" pose. The first thing to wear out is the cover: it gets dug at and chewed. That's why the cover is removable on a YKK zipper, and a spare can be ordered separately.

Will the bed hold 50 kg?
Yes. The base and seams are built for large breeds, and the sectional-quilted mattress won't sag under the weight. This is a spot for a heavy working dog, not a decorative bed.
The Cane Corso lives outdoors sometimes — which fabric?
Oxford: water-repellent, unfazed by mud and wet paws, wipes clean with a damp cloth. For outdoors it's the most practical choice.
Is there a size larger than 3XL?
3XL (145×115 cm) is the largest stock size, enough even for the biggest Cane Corsos. For non-standard needs, write to us — we'll discuss a custom build.
