What to consider when choosing

For a Husky of 20–27 kg we recommend size XL — inner space 75×55 cm. Count the space between the bolsters: a Husky alternates between curling into a donut, nose under tail, and stretching out on its side, and the bed has to fit both poses. For a large male closer to 30 kg take the 2XL (space 85×70 cm).

Honestly about the breed: a Husky often ignores warm padded beds — they're too hot — and sleeps on the tiles instead. So don't pick velour for a Husky: it needs breathable fabrics, oxford or rogozhka. And don't size down "since it sleeps on the floor anyway": measure the dog lying down, add 10–15 cm — on the right size with a cool fabric the Husky stays.

The fabric is dense upholstery-grade, like mid-range sofas. A Husky digs at its bed the way it digs snow — no snags, and the colour survives the washes. Oxford is also water-repellent: wet paws after a walk don't bother it. Thin cheap textile gets shredded by this breed within a season.

We developed each model around breed sizes and raised the bolsters for the big ones — a Husky rests its head there, keeping watch over the room. The first thing to wear out is the cover: we know the digging habit well. The cover is removable on a YKK zipper, and a spare can be ordered separately.

FAQ

What bed size does a Husky need?

For an adult Husky of 20–27 kg we recommend XL: outer 110×85 cm, inner space 75×55 cm. A large dog (27–30 kg) fits 2XL (120×100 cm, space 85×70 cm).

A Husky likes it cool — which bed suits it?

Choose oxford or rogozhka without too warm a filling: these fabrics breathe and don't overheat. A Husky often sleeps half-hanging off the bed onto the cool floor — that's normal, as long as there's enough room.

A Husky chews things — will the bed hold up?

Oxford is the most chew- and claw-resistant of our fabrics. No one can promise a chew-proof bed, but the dense weave and strong seams last far longer than cheap beds, and the removable cover is easy to replace separately.

Should I buy a Husky puppy's bed with room to grow?

Yes. A Husky reaches near-adult weight by one year — take the XL right away. The puppy won't get lost on it, and the removable cover will survive all the puppy-period washes.
